Nailed It: Essie Spree

In case it isn't obvious by my blog name, I have a weakness for nail polish. Nudes, bright pinks, flashy reds and the most striking neon colors--I try them all, almost with complete disregard for whether or not they go with my skin tone. It just gives me a little happy feeling when I look down at my nails and see it groomed and coated with  a color that (at that moment) tickles my fancy.

Anyway, I grabbed a new bottle of Essie while I was shopping at CVS earlier. (I looove shopping at CVS. I can go through aisle after aisle of drugstore brand goodness. Downside? I often spend more than I should.)

It's called Sand Tropez--a really nice darker beige--and I love it. Joins Ballet Slippers up there on my favorite Essie colors.

Also, I love Essie. They have such cutesy colors and they last a good while before they start chipping.

The next one I wanna get is Master Plan.

Guess I'm more into nude these days.

Want: Aldo Forwood Heels

Ventured into Aldo the other day while window/actual shopping and fell in love with this pair.

They're so pretty! Okay, the heel is like ridiculously high (4 inches!). I'd probably wear it on a night out and then be hanging on to someone for support after an hour, but it would be so perfect with a cute white dress or something. 

If it had just cost less, I probably would have gotten it already. I never used to have a weakness for shoes -- I'm all about falling in love with bags -- but I have a feeling this will be haunting my dreams for a while. Let's see how long it takes before I give in.
